One of our many flower baskets was not looking so good...so I took it down to give it a good watering. Well, to my surprise....right in the middle of the plant was a little birds nest. At the time of the discovery there was just one little egg in there...but as you can see by the time this picture was taken there was 4....and as of last night there was 5 little eggs!!! So now every SINGLE day John asks if the eggs have hatched yet....and we have to be extra careful when watering!!
P.S. The basket still looks like crap...but it isn't going anywhere now that it is a home to a mama birdie and her babies!! Silly, silly bird!! :)

Oh, how exciting....you're right....to heck with the plant; give mommy bird some peace so she can hatch her family! I bet the kids love it!
