Easter Eggs

Here are our finished Easter eggs. John and Isabelle were only interested in doing them for about 2 minutes....so Sam and I ended up finishing them. The brown egg is the middle was done by John who decided he wanted to dump his egg in every color. :)

Spring has Sprung!!!

Yes, even in the frozen tundra of the north....it is showing signs of Spring!! We have tulips and daffodils popping up all over our front yard. This is one of my favorite times of year!!

That's right!!! I am have become a mad collector of box tops!! I have even found that our garbage bags have them on their boxes!!! I am on a mission to become the best ever Aunt to Trinity and Madison who are collecting them for school!! Last time Grandma and Grandpa were here Grandpa tried to jack my collection so he could take credit for my efforts...nice try old man!!! :-P I am the Queen of the Box Tops!!

School's in Session!!

Here are my new school books...my highlighters, my notebooks and my pens. Heck, now all I need to find is a groovy trapper keeper and I will be all set!!! I survived my first week of classes (with the help of a pep talk mid week from mom!!) It is tough getting back into the academic swing of things....but I think I am catching on and am learning some good skills as well! :)

Death of a Snowman :(

It was less then a month ago where we got a nice snowstorm in Madison. The kids and I spent the afternoon making a snowman and decorating him with a scarf, carrot nose, rick eyes and green pigtails. Well, as you can see...all the snow has gone and all that was left of Mr. Snowman was his decoration. Rest in piece Mr. Snowman. Although it was said to see you go....it is nice the Spring is finally here!!

Water Park Fun

This weekend Mike and I and the kids along with Kelly, Trevor and thier kids went to the Dells for a fun couple days in the Dells. The kids really had a major blast!! Isabelle found a little slide in one of the parks that she would have LOVED to spend hours on and John ran all over the place and did everything he could do! It is nice to have indoor waterparks in Wisconsin...especially this time of year. Got to almost feel like it was warm outside.....OK not really!! But it was fun to get our swimsuits on and get wet!!
