On Monday Abbie was diagnosed with Glaucoma and the vet said that she had to have her eye removed. Well, we couldn't afford the cost of the surgery, so I found a woman to take her in, fix her up, and adopt her out. I was going to take Abbie to her on Friday. Well, Abbie must have been much more sick then the vet thought...because she passed away last night. It was a very sad night in our house...but at least I know that she isn't in any more pain and is happy again. Rest in peace, Abbie. I love you!

Oh, I am sooooooo sorry! She really must have been sick besides just the eye. I've got tears in my eyes because of just seeing her on Saturday. But, she has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge where she feels no pain and running with Peanuts, Tyler, Rusty, Willie, Heidi Beth and Fritzie.
You can at least take solice in the fact that you did not have to make the decision to have her put to sleep and God took it out of your hands.
