Circus Part 2

Here are some more pics from the circus. I really likedthe elephants...and the lady is white who bent herself in all sorts of directions was pretty impressive as well. Then there of course is a mug shot of me and Isabelle....notice the blue mouth?? She received that from the blue snowcone that daddy bought her!! It wouldn't be a successful circus without circus treats like a snowcone and cotton candy. And yes, I devoured the cotton candy...that is my favorite!! :)

Circus Part 1

Today Mike and I took Isabelle and John to the Zor Shrine Circus here in Madison. We saw tigers, elephants, clowns, and many acrobatic acts. The kids really enjoyed all the animal shows...but could do without the acrobats. But we managed to make it through the entire show with just one instant of some guy trying to jack our seats in the middle of the performance. All and all it was a great success!! :)

Yet ANOTHER Snow Day in Wisconsin

So today it started snowing AGAIN in Madison...big surprise hey??? Anyway I decided to take the kids outside for a while since it was fairly warm and they are suffering from cabin fever BIG TIME! John and I shoveled the driveway and sidewalks while Isabelle trudged around in the snow. They we ended up building a snow man...well actually mama built it and the kids just took all the credit and posed for a picture!! We fashioned our snowman with a scarf and festive green braids!! It was a great snow day for the Maiers....who now all have rosey cheeks and soggy socks. :)

Spaghetti Monster

So Friday night we had spaghetti for dinner. This is what happens when Isabelle and spaghetti get together....complete and utter mess!! But Bunny LOVES spaghetti!! She ate three helpings...most of which we had to keep scooping off her lap and placing back on her tray. It took her about a half hour to eat all the noodles...then she went straight into the bath!

She may just buy stock in Chef Boyardee one day!! :)

Valentine's Day Tradition

Every year since Mike and I have been together every Valentine's Day he gets me one of those stuffed animals that dances or sings or does both. This year is our 5th Valentine's day together....so we gathered all the animals together to show the kids. They got a real kick out of seeing what each one did and what song came out of each one. This year I received a devil that shakes it hips and sings 'Do you Love Me?' while it's cheeks light up.

Can't wait to see our collection 20 years from now!!! Love ya baby!! :)

2nd Annual Family Game Night!!!

So this time around for family game night I bought the little ones a PlayDoh Burger Builder. This was to keep them occupied while the adults played a couple games of Rummikub, a game of Yatzee, and a game of Farkle. We started out with 5 different colors of playdoh...which by the end of the game session was ALL brown. The burger builder is pretty cool...you can make...burger, buns, pickles, onions, tomatoes, lettuce. There is ever a device that shoots out chips to go along with your playdoh burger. Of course now all our ingredients are brown, but is sure makes for a mighty fine burger!!!

Grandma bought the kids a very nice sticker activity book....with TONS of stickers in it. Unfortunately, my kids are a little too young to do any of the activities in the book...so they created another game one night. It was called 'Put as many stickers on mama as humanly possible". This particular night they were working on the page with animal stickers. So I have everything from a spider to a frog, and I think there is even a moose on my cheek!! To this day I am still finding random animals all over the house. So thanks goes out to you...Grandma!!! :)
